Misc.
This tabbed pane concerns
the input.
The tabbed pane Model contains other input types.
You can select a topic by
means of the radio-buttons.
Now you can define or view
input-data of a type corresponding to the chosen topic.
Now select the structure in
the right upper window by clicking with the left mouse-button.
If no structure is
present, create a new volume by means of the "New Volume" in the
upper left window. Before that you have to make a material
which can be assign to the volume. Use the button "New Material".
Depending on the topic the
following will happen:
Define/Edit/Assign a time-effect relation to the selected surface. Flux is used when energy is supplied from an outer source, e.g. electrical heat mats or sunlight. Besides the flux, also relations about shield, convective temperature and wind speed can be defined. Please notice that the energy is released on the surface of the structure and not on the outer surface of any protection. Details. |
|
Define/Edit/Assign a time-temperature relation to the selected surface. This relation is used in combination with Radiation Transmission when energy is transferred by radiation, e.g. horizontal surfaces against an unclouded sky. Please notice that the heat exchange is based on the surface temperature of the structure and not on the outer surface temperature of any insulation. Details. |
|
Define/Edit/Assign a time-transmission coefficient relation to the selected surface. See Radiation Temperature. Details. |
|
Define/Edit/Assign a time-relative humidity relation to the selected surface. This relation is used in combination with Humidity Transmission when Heat of Evaporation/Condensation is considered. Please notice that the heat exchange is based on the surface temperature of the structure and not on the outer surface temperature of any insulation. Details. |
|
Define/Edit/Assign a time-transmission coefficient relation to the selected surface. See Relative Humidity. Details. |
To position the structure in
the right angle, you can turn it by means of the scrollbars, the arrow-keys or
keep the left mouse-button pressed while you drag the mouse.
You can zoom in on a
specific part of the structure by dragging the mouse with the left mouse button
kept down, while the Ctrl-key is pressed. Zoom back out by clicking the right
mouse button. Also, the mouse wheel can be used for zoom/un-zoom.
See Overview Mouse and Keyboard actions for details.
By means of the
"previous"- and "next"-buttons you can see how the
structure is at the times where casting takes place.
