Model
This tabbed pane concerns
the input.
The tabbed pane Misc. contains additional options.
You can select a topic by
means of the radio-buttons.
Now you can define or view
input-data of a type corresponding to the chosen topic.
Now select the structure in
the right upper window by clicking with the left mouse-button.
If no structure is
present, create a new volume by means of the "New Volume" in the
upper left window. Before that you have to make a material which can be assign
to the volume. Use the button "New Material".
Depending on the topic the
following will happen:
Editing the selected volume |
|
Define/Edit/Assign basic information about formwork, insulation etc. and schedule for curing-measures to the selected surface. The shield is used for calculation of convective heat transfer together with the wind-speed and the convective temperature |
|
Define/Edit a cooling pipe or a heating cable |
|
Define/Edit/Assign a time-temperature relation to the selected surface. The temperature relation is used for calculation of convective heat transfer together with the wind-speed and the shield |
|
Define/Edit/Assign a time-wind speed relation to the selected surface. The wind-speed relation is used for calculation of convective heat transfer together with the convective temperature and the shield |
|
Define/Edit/Assign a time-transmission coefficient of convection relation to the selected surface or view of the resulting convective transmission coefficient due to the defined Shields an Wind-Speeds for the selected surface |
|
View of the meshed Finite Element Model. If no mesh is present make the meshing by means of the button "Calculate Temperatures" |
To position the structure
in the right angle, you can turn it by means of the scrollbars, the arrow-keys
or keep the left mouse-button pressed while you drag the mouse.
You can zoom in on a
specific part of the structure by dragging the mouse with the left mouse button
kept down, while the Ctrl-key is pressed. Zoom back out by clicking the right
mouse button. Also, the mouse wheel can be used for zoom/un-zoom.
See Overview Mouse and Keyboard actions for details.
By means of the
"previous"- and "next"-buttons you can see how the
structure is at the times where casting takes place.
